What Our Encino Porsche Clients Are Saying
Why Choose HOUSE Automotive Encino?
The San Fernando Valley has some of the densest Porsche ownership in Southern California. From Encino and Tarzana to Calabasas and Studio City, there are a lot of 911s, Cayennes, and Taycans on these roads. The options for servicing them at the level they deserve are shorter than that list. HOUSE Encino was built by people who came from the dealership world, knew what was missing, and built something better: dealership-level precision with the kind of personal accountability that only an independent specialist can deliver.
White-Glove Experience
Complimentary pickup and drop-off, free shuttle, and rental car coordination. Your advisor keeps you in the loop from drop-off to delivery.

Independent Porsche Specialists in Encino
HOUSE Automotive Encino sits in the San Fernando Valley and serves one of the highest concentrations of Porsche ownership in Los Angeles. Our Encino shop has become one of the highest-rated independent Porsche service facilities in the region, with over 2,000 five-star reviews across Google, Yelp, and Facebook shared across HOUSE locations.
Every car that comes through our Encino bays gets diagnosed with PIWIS — Porsche’s factory diagnostic system, the same tool the dealership uses. It’s the only way to communicate with Porsche-specific systems across PDK transmission modules, PASM suspension controls, Taycan high-voltage architecture, and Sport Chrono calibrations. Generic OBD scanners reach the surface. PIWIS goes deeper, and deeper is where the real diagnostics happen.
Our technicians are certified across the full Porsche lineup: 911 in every generation from the 996 through the current 992, 718 Boxster and Cayman, Cayenne including Turbo and Turbo GT variants, Macan in both gas and electric configurations, Panamera, and Taycan. Specialty certifications extend to the Carrera GT, 918 Spyder, Taycan, and Macan EV. A weekend 997 GT3 and a daily Cayenne GTS both get the same technician, the same OEM parts, and the same level of care.
Servicing your Porsche at an independent shop doesn’t touch your factory warranty. The Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act protects your right to choose where your car is serviced, as long as the work meets manufacturer specifications. Ours does, documented in PIWIS, on every single job.
Our Encino location is convenient to Sherman Oaks, Tarzana, Studio City, Woodland Hills, Calabasas, Northridge, West Hills, Van Nuys, and Burbank. We offer free pickup and drop-off for local appointments, so your schedule stays yours.
HOUSE Automotive Encino serves the San Fernando Valley with the same factory-level standards that define our Pasadena and Thousand Oaks locations. Every car gets diagnosed with PIWIS — Porsche’s own factory tool, not a generic OBD scanner. Our certified technicians work exclusively on Porsches across the full lineup: all 911 generations, 718 Boxster and Cayman, Cayenne, Macan, Panamera, and Taycan, including specialty certifications on the Carrera GT, 918 Spyder, and Macan EV. Bringing your Porsche here doesn’t void your factory warranty. Federal law protects your right to choose, and our work meets manufacturer specs on every job, logged in PIWIS.
We serve Encino, Sherman Oaks, Tarzana, Studio City, Woodland Hills, Calabasas, Northridge, West Hills, Van Nuys, and Burbank with free pickup and drop-off for local appointments.

Frequently Asked Questions
How much does Porsche service cost at HOUSE Automotive Encino?
Pricing depends on your specific Porsche, the job, and the parts required. A 911 Carrera oil service is a different job than a Cayenne Turbo S E-Hybrid service. Rather than post a generic price list that doesn’t reflect your actual car, we give you a clear, itemized quote before any work begins. Contact us with your year, model, and what you need. In general, our rates come in meaningfully below the Porsche dealership for equivalent work using the same OEM parts.
Does servicing my Porsche at HOUSE void my factory warranty?
No. The Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act gives you the right to choose where your vehicle is serviced without voiding the manufacturer’s warranty, provided the work is performed correctly and with appropriate parts. We follow Porsche factory service protocols, use genuine OEM components, and document all completed work through PIWIS — the same system the dealership uses to log services.
What is PIWIS, and why does it matter for my Porsche?
PIWIS — Porsche Integrated Workshop Information System — is the factory diagnostic platform that communicates directly with every electronic module in your Porsche. A standard OBD reader can pull generic engine codes. PIWIS can access PDK transmission control units, PASM suspension modules, Sport Chrono systems, Taycan high-voltage battery management, and every other Porsche-specific system. Without it, a technician is working from incomplete data. HOUSE Encino runs PIWIS on every diagnostic, and uses it to reset service indicators and verify completed repairs, same as the dealership.
Do you service all Porsche models, or mostly 911s?
We service every Porsche model and generation. That includes all 911 variants from the 996 through the 992, the 718 Boxster and Cayman, the full Cayenne range including Turbo and Turbo GT, Macan in gas and electric versions, Panamera, and Taycan. Our technicians carry certifications across the complete lineup, with specialty certifications extending to the Carrera GT, 918 Spyder, Taycan, and Macan EV.
How often should I have my Porsche serviced?
Most current Porsche models call for an oil service every 10,000 miles or once per year, whichever comes first. That interval can shorten depending on how you drive. Track sessions, sustained high-rpm driving, extended stop-and-go commuting, and extreme heat all accelerate oil degradation. If you’re not sure what interval fits your driving habits, our technicians can walk you through it based on your actual usage — not just what the manual says.
What is a pre-purchase inspection, and is it worth it?
A Porsche pre-purchase inspection (PPI) is a thorough mechanical and structural evaluation of a used Porsche before you buy it. We go through engine health, transmission function, suspension wear, brake condition, IMS bearing status on applicable models, oil system integrity, and known platform-specific failure points. You receive a detailed written report. If you’re considering a used Porsche priced anywhere from $30,000 to $300,000, a PPI is the most cost-effective decision you can make before writing a check.
Do you offer pickup and drop-off for service appointments?
Yes. Complimentary vehicle pickup and drop-off is available within the Encino area for scheduled service appointments. We also offer a free shuttle and can arrange a rental car for jobs that require more time. Let us know your preference when you book online or call, and we’ll coordinate it before your appointment.
What exactly does your 2-year warranty cover?
Every part we install and every repair we perform at HOUSE Encino is covered for two years with no mileage restriction. If a part fails or a repair doesn’t hold within that window, we take care of it. This covers both parts and labor. Most shops in the area offer 12 months or 12,000 miles. Our warranty reflects the confidence we put into every job.
Can HOUSE Encino handle performance upgrades and modifications?
Yes. We are authorized dealers and installers for SharkWerks, IPD, and SOUL Performance. Our team handles exhaust systems, intake plenums, suspension setups, engine tunes, and supporting hardware. Before we recommend anything, we want to understand your build goals, your driving environment, emissions requirements, and how the car gets used day to day. Call us with your Porsche’s specs and what you’re after, and we’ll put together the right plan.
