With improvements to the design, performance, and a whole new operating concept, the new Macan from Porsche is here — with all three versions boasting a significant increase in power.
Increased Performance
The Macan comes in with 261 max horsepower, a top track speed of 144 mph, and the ability to go from zero to 60 in 6.0 seconds. Likewise, the Macan S has improved stats and power as well with 375 max horsepower, 160 mph top track speed, and an astonishing 4.6 seconds to take the car from a standstill to 60 mph. However, if you’re looking for the most powerful and fastest of the new line, the Macan GTS has a whopping 434 max horsepower, 169 top track speed, and will get you from zero to 60 in 4.3 seconds.
Exterior Design Upgrades
The power and performance isn’t the only thing that Porsche upgraded on the new Macan; the new exterior features give these cars a sharper and sportier design. They’ve made the LED headlights with the Porsche Dynamic Light System (PDLS) and their Sport Design exterior mirrors standard on all models of the Macan. Additionally, the nose has been redesigned and now features an inlay of the exterior color, and the rear is rounded off with a diffuser. With 14 colors available and a number of other updates and improvements to the exterior, the new Macan is likely to exceed the expectations of the most discerning Porsche fan.
Interior Design Upgrades
The interior of the Macan has undergone a serious redesign as well, featuring a new operating concept that removes the tactical buttons and replaces them with sleek, modern touch surfaces. The analogue clock now comes standard on all models, as does a 10.9-inch HD touch display of the Porsche Communication Management system that can be controlled with voice commands. With a wide selection of upholstery packages and a number of other noticeable interior upgrades, the new Macan creates a one-of-kind experience for new and returning Porsche customers.
The New Macan Is Available to Order Now
According to Porsche Newsroom, the Macan has a history of attracting new Porsche customers, with about 80 percent of Macan buyers being first-time purchasers, and many going on to become life-long Porsche owners and enthusiasts. The new Macan is available to order now and is set to be delivered to Europe in the beginning of October and in America in the beginning of 2022.
